panic go - product explainer videos

Panic Go produces personal alarm buttons providing 24/7 location monitoring to anyone who may be at risk. They approached Envisuals as were looking for an affordable way to demonstrate their product and explain its benefits. Impressed by our portfolio and the fact we offer both film and animation in-house, the team at Panic Go chose to work with us.

the brief

The team at Panic Go wanted a few short videos to explain what they do and demonstrate the product in different settings to show off how it can be used by different people in different situations. The videos would be used on their website as well as social media so they needed to be punchy, in keeping with their branding and short enough to keep the attention of the audience.

Our Process

Understanding their requirements, our creative team proposed a storyboard and script for the videos, using a mix of filmed product demonstration and animated motion graphics to bring it to life. We also provided a number of visual mockups to give a sense of the colour palette and general look and feel we were proposing.

For the voiceover, we’d agreed that a female voice with a neutral UK accent would be best. We gathered auditions from our network of 100s of voiceover artists, so we could select the perfect voice for the video.

After pre-production was complete, we filmed the product demonstrations at our studio. We then edited the footage together with the animated sequences and the voiceover to create the final videos.

Outcomes

The videos were used as part of a successful social media campaign, and on the company website. They provided a simple way of explaining the product to their different audiences. The team at Panic Go were really happy with the outcome and have since commissioned us to produce further videos.
